Vaiaku Lagi Hotel

The Vaiaku Lagi Hotel is situated in the centre of Funafuti town about 50 metres from the
airport and set on the lagoon side of the island. Visitors have incredible views of the
lagoon. The sunset is spectacular.

The hotel has a fully licensed bar, a comfortable lounge and a dance floor. There are 16 rooms
in the new complex face the lagoon. Every room is air-conditioned and have a warm shower, with
a toilet and refrigerator, plus tea and coffee-making facilities.

A conference room is ideal for small conference, meeting, running workshops, and training.
It is equipped with video screen and deck, white boards for writing. It can accommodate
50 - 60 covers. The hotel has its own vehicle (pick-up) transfer its guests from the airport
to hotel and vise versa during flight times.


Excellent meals are provided at reasonable cost with European, Italian, Indian, Chinese and
Local dishes. The fish is caught daily straight from the lagoon and is a specialty. A selection
of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks are served from the bar during meal times.

Breakfast is served daily from 0700hrs - 0900hrs Lunch is served daily from 1200hrs - 1400hrs
Dinner is served daily from 1900hrs - 21 00hrs

ACTIVITIES
Picnics and cruise to small islets around the lagoon can be arranged on request. A paradise
day cruise includes:

visit to Fualopa's crystal waters - offers great swimming & snorkeling
Visit to Fuakea
Visit to Fuafatu Reef
Picnic to Fualopa
Use of snorkeling gear
Cooler with "Ice" provided
Bottom sea fishing can be arranged on request
A tour guide can also be arranged.
A disco "twist" is usually held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
