Known as The Treasured Island of the South Pacific' , Samoa is where age-old culture and village lifestyles have been preserved for centuries.

A fully independent state with a parliamentary system of government, Samoa is the largest full-blooded Polynesian country in the world. Over 90% of the country’s 170,000 plus population are full Samoans.

The group is made up of 10 islands covering a land area of 2,935 km2 which is richly endowed with a natural beauty which appeals to the growing eco-tourism market. The largest of these islands is Savai’i (1610 km2).

The Samoans cling proudly to their 2,000 year old heritage and encourage visitors to learn about and participate in their way of life.

Climate:  Pleasantly warm throughout the with an average maimum temperature of 29 degrees celsius.  Hot conditions from May to November are usually colled a litle by the South-East trade winds.  Wet season is November to March. 

Accommodation:  A selection of top-end and mid-range hotels, motels and resorts to budget and beach fale style of accommodation is available.
